We'll tell you on the free check, before you pay anything. If it's bigger than a week, we quote it separately - we don't start a fixed-price job we can't finish.
Do I need to give you my hosting login?
Yes, admin access to WordPress and your hosting. We work on a staging copy first, never straight on your live site, and you can revoke access the moment we're done.
Am I locked into a retainer afterwards?
No. The audit is a standalone job. Most people move onto maintenance because they'd rather not think about it again, but nothing obliges you to.
What if you find malware?
Removal is included. If the infection has spread beyond WordPress into the hosting account, we'll tell you what's needed and quote it before doing anything extra.
